Our Mission
The Dutch Boogie Association (DBA) was founded in 2025 with the ultimate goal of organizing Dutch Boogie Woogie competitions, getting them included on the World Rock ‘n’ Roll Confederation (WRRC) competition calendar, and enabling Dutch Boogie Woogie dancers to compete at this level. This goal consists of the following three elements:
Boogie competition skills
The DBA aims to ensure that dancers and dance schools are supported in learning the necessary Boogie Woogie competition skills, so that dancers can participate in Boogie Woogie competitions as they take place within international standards.
We do this by organizing workshops, classes, and providing information about everything involved in competitive dancing.
Boogie dance competitions in the Netherlands
We want to ensure that Boogie Woogie competitions are organized again in the Netherlands. To achieve this, the Dutch Boogie Association is in contact with various dance federations.
Associated with the WRRC
Dutch registration on the World Rock ‘n’ Roll Confederation (WRRC) competition calendar once there is sufficient interest and the necessary skills have been developed.
